At American Alarm Services Inc., we’ve been in business for nearly 30 years. What separates us from other companies is personal service and security systems that are designed and installed to provide maximum security and ease of operation. We have our own monitoring facility with the latest state-of-the-art technology. This includes remote access for everything from diagnostics of equipment to changing user codes in emergencies. Our monitoring facility not only monitors for burglary, fire, medical, robbery, etc., but also monitors for utility codes such as electrical failures, wire cuts, equipment failures, tampering and yes, the monitoring of all DCR functions. No matter how much you paid for a security and/or surveillance system, if you’re unaware that the system has been tampered with or is suffering a failure, you may be unable to use the system for evidence or security. We can also set the system up to page you on events or e-mail on events such as motion after-hours, opening and closing reports and supervised fail-to-open and fail-to-close reports. There are a lot of alarm companies throughout the nation that can order the same equipment, but there are three key differences that set us apart.
The first difference is how the system was designed and installed. The system must be secure, easy-to-use, and monitored for any failures or tampering that may occur. Our systems are designed to not only report these tamperings or failures, but are also designed to perform year in and year out. These systems all have U.P.S. (Uninterrupted Power Supply) back-ups incorporated and the capability to be viewed in total darkness in case of total power failure, since this is usually a time when theft, robberies, accidents and other mishaps can occur. We do this with the technology of day-night infrared cameras.

The second difference is personal service. How many times have you called in to a company for service and had to explain your story ten times to ten different people only after you’ve punched this and punched that for over half an hour, navigating your way through their nightmare of a voice-automated system, only to discover they can’t or won’t help you anyway? When you call into American Alarm Services Inc., you will not only get to talk to a live person, but if they can’t personally help you, they will put you into contact with someone who can, whether it’s a technician, supervisor, or even the president of the corporation, if that’s what it takes.
Thirdly, the relationship and support the installing company has with their distributing and manufacturing company is critical. In fact, no matter how good a company is or how well intentioned it is, it can only be as good as the support it receives from their distributors and manufacturers. We have been doing business with Ever Focus products and A.D.P. distribution for over 20 years. In this time, we have developed an excellent working relationship that substantially helps us come through on our promises and commitments. In fact, we asked A.D.P. and Ever Focus if they could come to a conference we were attending and support us. They not only agreed, but said they would come and set-up the booth for us. I’m not sure, but I don’t think Jason, General Manager of A.D.P. distribution, and Dave, Graty, and Rodney from Ever Focus manufacturing, do that for everyone. We are honored to have this kind of relationship. Because of the volume of equipment we purchase, this also helps us to give the best service we offer. If you have any questions or would like to give us your company a free consultation, please contact us.
